Arthur D. Little appoints Michaël Kolk as Global Leader for Technology & Innovation Management Practice

Arthur D. Little (ADL), today announced the appointment of Michaël Kolk to lead its global Technology & Innovation Management (TIM) Practice. 

A Partner based in ADL’s Amsterdam office, Michaël has been with the company for 19 years. During this time he has built a reputation for thought leadership around innovation management, collaborating actively with teams in the TIM Practice globally. He has worked with CTOs and R&D leaders in industries ranging from Chemicals & Materials, Oil & Gas and Medtech, covering all aspects of innovation, from growth acceleration and innovation excellence to applying digital technology and agile approaches.

Michaël takes over from Rick Eagar, the previous head of TIM, who has retired and been recognized as a Partner Emeritus for his long service and valuable contribution to the firm. Working with the senior team within the TIM Practice, Michaël will continue its breakthrough growth and ensure that it remains at the forefront of innovation.

Before joining ADL, Michaël worked for Shell Chemicals as a workgroup leader in its Amsterdam Technology Center.  He holds an MSc in biochemistry from the University of Amsterdam and a PhD in biophysical chemistry from Radboud University. In addition, he has attended the Executive Education program of Insead, France.
